The Charles University Digitization Centre was established at the Charles University Central Library with financial support from the project Vytvoření infrastruktury pro Centrum e-learningu (CZ.02.2.67/0.0/0.0/16_016/0002301).

We also offer our services to customers from the general public. Individual customers, as well as municipalities, associations, and other institutions and companies, can use our services, for example, to digitize their chronicle or other archival documents.

We also offer additional services to the faculties and departments of Charles University, such as OCR processing of documents, book cleaning, or document trimming.

The Charles University Digitization Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art book scanners, including the ROBO SCAN 1 robotic scanner, the Contex SD One MF 36 large format scanner, or document scanners for quickly scanning individual sheets of paper. The equipment also includes a Canon imagePROGRAF iPF770 large format printer capable of printing up to 36"/A0 size format.(ideal, for example, for conference posters).
